RECENT UPDATES:
The rainstorms, which occurred in early 2005, have drastically
raised water levels onto the campground. The Lake flooded 44
campsites and our boat launch facility is currently 15 feet
under water. Due to the nature of the situation, the City of
Lake Elsinore has placed a chain link fence between the
campground and the waterline to prevent accidents. Until
further notice there is currently no launching, swimming or
fishing available from our campground. To compensate for this
situation we have designated a facility which will allow our
campers the opportunity to launch their boats at 50% off, swim,
and fish from the Seaport Boat Launch.
LOOKING INTO THE FUTURE: ***** (Five Star
Resort)
In early 2006 we will start construction on remodeling all
of the facility. We currently have a total of 200 individual
campsites along with 11 group sites. After construction there
will be 400 individual campsites all with electricity, water,
sewer hook-ups and telephone and wireless internet access.
Amenities will include a swimming pool, spa, tennis court,
recreation room with pool table and arcade games, a
meeting/conference room with computers, a new boat launch
facility with a bait shop, a designated fish cleaning area, a
200 car parking lot, dry storage and wet slip rentals for
monthly customers as well as overnight users. Lake Elsinore
Recreation Area will be a new state-of-the-art five star
camping resort facility.
