June Lake Campground is located in the eastern high Eastern Sierras of California
at near the Town of June Lake, at an elevation of 7,600 feet. This campground
is situated off US 395, 350 miles north of Los Angeles and 150 miles south of Reno.
Campsites are located in a mixed Aspen and pine forest on the shoreline of beautiful
June Lake. Ease of access to June Lake fishing, marina, and boat rentals make
this a favorite place for families and anglers.
CAMPING:
The campground is open from late April until late October; please call information
for the actual opening and closing dates of the campground. The maximum stay is
14 days at all sites. Reservations must
be made at least 4 days in advance, with a 2 night minimum stay over the weekends.
The campground also offers sites for first come, first serve campers. There are
21 family campsites complete with a picnic table, barbecue, and fire ring. There
is firewood for sale and most. There are 8 tent only sites which are along with
shoreline. All sites have bear proof food lockers for food protection

SERVICES & FACILITIES:
Flush toilets, potable water, pay telephone, lake access and public marina. Grocery
store, gas and propane, laundry, restaurant and shopping nearby. There is firewood
for sale and most sites have bear proof food lockers for protection.
THINGS TO DO:
Fishing is available on June Lake and other nearby lakes and streams. Hiking, mountain
biking, and OHV trails are close to the campground. Nature interpretive programs
are available to adults and kids such as nature walks and campfire programs which
are held weekly. You may also rent a boat, go shopping, and eat at some of the favorite
restaurants in the Town of June Lake. All of these activities are within walking
distance from the campground.
DIRECTIONS:
Take US 395 to State Highway 158. Take SH 158 2 miles. June Lake Campground is located
on the right side of the highway as you enter the Town of June Lake.
