Pine City Campground is located in the Eastern Sierras in the Lakes Basin near
the Town of Mammoth Lakes, at an elevation of 8,900 feet. Campsites are located in
a Lodge Pole pine forest above the shoreline of beautiful Lake Mary, and a favorite
place for both families and anglers.
CAMPING:
The campground is open from early June until mid September; please call information
for the actual opening and closing dates of the campground. The maximum stay is
14 days at all sites. The campground is on a first come, first serve basis. There
are 10 family campsites complete with a picnic table, barbecue, and fire ring. All
sites have bear-proof lockers for food protection.

SERVICES & FACILITIES:
Flush toilets and potable water are available. A hospital is located approximately
5 miles away located in the Town of Mammoth Lakes.
THINGS TO DO:
Fishing is available on Lake Mary and other nearby lakes and streams. Backcountry
hiking trails, mountain biking, horseback rental, equestrian trails, a marina,
and boat rental are also close to the campground. There is also a factory
outlet mall, golf course, and restaurants are in the Town of Mammoth Lakes.
Summer mountain bike park and gondola rides are available at Mammoth Mountain
Ski Area (approximately 7 miles). An interpretive program in the form of nature
hikes, kid programs and campfire programs are provided weekly.
DIRECTIONS:
Take US 395 to State Highway 203 to Mammoth Lakes. Proceed west on SH 203 for
approximately 8 miles through the Town of Mammoth Lakes continuing on Lake Mary
Road to the Pine City Campground cutoff.
