Pine Glen Campground is located in the Eastern Sierras, next to the town of Mammoth Lakes, at an elevation of 7,800 feet.  The campsites are located under a shady canopy of mature Jeffery pine forest yet are still within walking distance of restaurants and store in the Town of Mammoth Lakes.

CAMPING:
The campground is open from mid May until mid September; please call information for the actual opening and closing dates of the campground. The maximum stay is 14 days at all sites. Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance, with a 2 night minimum stay over the weekends. The campground also offers sites for first come, first serve campers. The group campsites are complete with a picnic table, barbecue, and fire ring. All sites have bear proof food lockers for food protection.

SERVICES & FACILITIES:
Flush toilets and potable water are available. A hospital is located in the Town of Mammoth Lakes. Firewood is also available for sale (ask your camp host). A Forest Service Visitor Center is just a short walk from the campground.

THINGS TO DO:
Fishing is available in at nearby lakes and streams. Backcountry hiking trails, mountain biking, equestrian trails, and OHV trails are also close to the campground. There is also a factory outlet mall, golf course, and restaurants are a 1/2 mile from the Town of Mammoth Lakes. Summer mountain bike park and gondola rides are available at Mammoth Mountain Ski Area (approximately 5 miles). An interpretive program in the form of nature hikes, kid programs and campfire programs are provided weekly.

DIRECTIONS:
Take US 395 to State Highway 203 to Mammoth Lakes. Proceed on SH 203 for 2.8 miles to Sawmill Cutoff Road. Proceed north, turn right onto Sawmill Road. Turn right into the New Shady Rest Campground.
