The Lake McClellan Recreation Area has 11
recreation sites that include six campgrounds, 2 picnic grounds,
and a group shelter. The recreation area is open all year
round.

CAMPING:
You may reserve campsites on the West side of the lake. The
campgrounds on the East side are on a first come, first served
basis. Two vehicles are allowed per site. Each campsites
contains a picnic table, barbecue and fire ring.

Reservations must be made at least 4 days in

SERVICES & FACILITIES:
Lake McClellan provides an RV dump station, a
parking area for fishermen, boat launch, flush toilets,
potable water, and camp store.

DIRECTIONS:
Lake McClellan is approximately 50 miles east
of Amarillo, Texas. Take Interstate 40 east to exit #128 and
proceed three miles north to the campground entrance.
