In Colorado
For family fun, plan a ride from Colorado Campground or Manitou Lake Picnic area on the improved bike path. This is a wonderful way to escape the valley heat and enjoy the beauty of an old growth forest while pedaling along.

While camping at Turquoise Lake Campgrounds, Molly Brown, Silver Dollar, Baby Doe, Belle of Colorado, Father Dyer or May Queen be sure and take the scenic ride around Turquoise Lake, keep in mind you are sharing the road with vehicular traffic. Don’t miss the new bike and jogging path constructed around Leadville for some great views, The path also travels past many historical points of interest.
